Our Sympathys

We are deeply saddened by the announcement of the passing of one
of our own– Mike Fraley of the Ada and Alger grain branches.

Michael J. Fraley, age 54, of Alger, died unexpectedly on Friday,
July 16, 2010 at his residence in Alger. He was born January 27, 1956 to
John Henry and Mary Lou (Benjamin) Fraley. His father is deceased,
his mother survives in Harrod.

Other survivors include two sons: Shaun (Jennifer) Fraley of Waynesfield
and Randy Fraley of Harpster, Ohio; and a daughter: Michelle (John)
Luellen of Alger.

Funeral services were held for Mike on July 21 at the Hanson-Neely
Funeral Home in Alger. Pastor Willis Moe officiated and burial was in Preston
Cemetery.

Mike joined the Heritage Cooperative family through The Farmers Commission
Company. He had hired in on December 3, 1984–serving the agriculture
community in Hardin County for over 25½ years. He held the position of
Ada Grain Plant Superintendent at the time of his passing. Out of respect
and in honor of Mike, the Ada and Alger branches were closed the day of
his funeral so that fellow employees could be in attendance and support his
family in their time of need.

The Heritage Cooperative family of employees expresses our deepest
sympathy to Mike’s family, friends and his customers.
