Ag Technology Specialist - Ohio


Location: Eastern Agronomy Region, OH

 

OBJECTIVE: Direct the day to day operations of Precision Ag assigned by Director of Ag Technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide assistance to the Crop Advantage department
  • Promote sales of Precision Ag products and services that benefit customers and prospects
  • Coordinate Precision Ag soil sampling and tissue sampling
  • Demonstrate and use GPS mapping technology
  • Process, provide recommendations, and direct team when needed in regards to analyzed data
  • Ensure all services provided are to the Agronomy Division's fiscal advantage
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all company salespeople in order to promote and support Precision Planting, Crop Advantage and other technologies
  • Maintain and expand personal knowledge and awareness of Precision Agricultural practices and technology through company and appropriate Industry training and education opportunities
  • Uphold all company policies and strive to promote the company in a positive

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture preferred
  • Understanding of agricultural technology, operations and equipment
  • Hands on experience and ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge relevant to the job and industry
  • Capable of working without supervision

Work Authorization
