Position Overview : The agronomy associate will provide prompt and accurate support of all assigned operational, customer service, and order fulfillment tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  • Safe and efficient operation of all equipment
  • Greet customers in a polite, professional and positive manner
  • Fulfill customer orders in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, clean, safe and environmental sound condition
  • Efficient operation of equipment to effectively load out bulk dry and liquid fertilizer in a manner that is accurate and safe
  • Assist with the preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to obtain the maximum efficiency possible and ensure the longevity of all fixed assets
  • Operate receiving systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to receive product and unload trucks
  • Assist with any reporting and record keeping that is required at the facility
  • Comply with all government regulations and company safety policies and procedures including safety training and inspections
  • Follow all company polices and perform all assigned tasks in an efficient and safe manner
  • Become a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Class A CDL, or willing to obtain a CDL within 90 days
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Good communication skills
  • Good mechanical skills
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.

Work Authorization

Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required in order to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment.
