Heritage Cooperative is a member-owned cooperative dating back to 1919. Our Feed Division is seeking an extraordinary commercial driver to join our team!

JOB TITLE: Bag Truck Delivery Driver

OBJECTIVE: To efficiently and accurately service the customer in bagged delivery of feed and other products

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager


  • Communicate and coordinate bagged feed deliveries with appropriate personnel.
  • Load the bagged truck per printed invoice and follow established procedures.
  • Properly inspect trucks before and after trips per DOT requirements, promptly report any equipment malfunctions and maintain trucks as if they were your own.
  • Be courteous, friendly, and positive with our customers. Respect the producers' properties.
  • Promptly report situations and adverse customer comments to appropriate management.
  • Accurately complete and maintain DOT logbooks, vehicle inspection reports, trip tickets, fuel tickets, and all related documentation connected with the bulk feed truck driver position.
  • Drive safely and operate safely as to not harm the bulk feed truck, yourself, fellow employees, customers, customer property, and the general public.
  • All other duties as assigned


  • High School Degree or GED or equivalent professional driving experience
  • 2 – 4 years professional experience in driving commercial vehicles
  • 1 – 2 years delivery experience
  • Class B driver’s license Class A Preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws
  • Knowledge of how to use a road map and follow directions
  • Understand and apply loading and delivery procedures
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Continuously required to lift 50 pounds


Work Authorization

Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required in order to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment.
