Director of Seed and Agronomy Services

Location: Ohio



OBJECTIVE: Manage overall seed business, including all partnered brands. Manage and direct all agronomic field service calls and customer facing as well as internal training.  


  • Responsible for overseeing all seed business.
  • Responsible for developing marketing plan, pricing structure and incentive program.
  • Work with genetic suppliers and production companies fordevelopment of Shurgrow strategy.
  • Work with all seed partners to develop a profitable sales strategy using agronomic and ag tech tools
  • Design training at Answer Plots for both seed and agronomy training.
  • Work with Region Sales Directors and Ag Tech Director designing agronomic training throughout the year for both internal use and customer facing events
  • Work with the Ag Technology department to integrate agronomic strategies into ag technology applications and initiatives
  • Develop a relationship with the Top 50 customers in the agronomy division.
  • Work with Crop Protection Manager to develop agronomic strategies surrounding related products
  • Assist Sales Team with farm sales and field service calls.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and other Heritage Cooperative employees.


  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture preferred
  • Understanding of agricultural technology, operations and equipment
  • Hands on experience and ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge relevant to the job and industry
  • Capable of working without supervision


Work Authorization

Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required in order to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment.
