Construction Update 5/23/2014

The tank and associated plumbing has been painted green. The water tank has been painted white and is ready to be set and plumbed in. The underground plumbing has been inspected and approved. The tank has passed ODA inspection and is able to be put into use. As soon as the electric is connected to the pump, we can unload RR cars of 32%. Inside, the plumbers and electrician are making progress. Plumbing crew leader told me he had 10 days of work left.

Construction update 3/3/2014

The extremely cold and snowy conditions that we experienced this winter has caused several delays in the construction schedule of our Kenton Liquid project. Most of the underground plumbing has been laid, the building exterior shell is complete and the storage tank is being welded together. Most of the work will now be focused on the interior of the building, chemical plumbing and the automation system. Hopefully, most of the severe weather is behind us and the construction crews can remain on schedule until the job is finished. We are anticipating the project to be completed and being utilized by mid-April.

Construction under way.

Groundbreaking Ceremony

On Friday November 1, 2013 Heritage Cooperative held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Agronomy Facility at the Kenton Campus. About 100 guests were in attendance. Several community leaders were in the crowd as well. Trillium and Precision Strip representatives were also present for the groundbreaking ceremony as they are playing an active roll in the entire project.
