Weekly Crop Progress & Condition Ratings

Both U.S. and Ohio crop condition ratings remained unchanged Monday evening. Rain moving through the mid-west the last couple days has been beneficial though the coverage has been spotty. Forecasts are calling for drier and warmer conditions over the next 5-10 day period.

Once again, USDA failed to cut their crop estimates and corn prices traded limit lower after the data was released. Ohio corn yield was reported at 160 and soybean yield was estimated at 48. The end of this story is still weeks away and weather will continue to influence the final chapter.
