2019 Dicamba Training

Online Training & Information

The EPA’s designation of Dicamba formulations used over the top of DT Soybeans/Cotton as Restricted Use Pesticides requires that anyone who is going to purchase, apply or handle, the dicamba herbicides: XtendiMax, FeXapan, or Engenia, is required to attend a dicamba or auxin-specific training. The federal registration requires that only Certified Applicators may apply these products and prior to applying these products, the applicator must complete the training. The current training (2019) is required before applying these products, any training attended in 2018 will not fulfill the requirement.

These training meetings are NOT a commercial for the manufacturer providing the training. The slide decks have been approved by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. The following link to the Ohio Department of Agriculture highlights some of the label changes for 2019: https://agri.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/oda/divisions/plant-health/pesticides/dicamba-labels

Monsanto is providing online applicator training for 2019. The online training can be found at the following website: https://training.roundupreadyxtend.com/ Following the training, you will receive a completion certificate that will allow you to use any of the dicamba products labeled for use in the Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System.
