How to Refer Your Friends
You can now introduce your friends and family to 1st Choice Energy Services, get them a discount for their first scheduled propane tank fill, and earn an account credit while you're at it! By clicking on the “Refer a Friend” button you can easily share submission form link with your contacts. We call “Referred Customer” any of your friends or family members that use 1st Choice Energy Services for their propane needs following your introduction through this referral system. We call “Referring Customer” the current 1st Choice Energy Services customer who refers friends or family using this referral system. The referral system allows you to share the referral with your connections via an email message, or post the referral on Twitter, Facebook, Google plus LinkedIn and personal blogs. You agree to use the referral system only with personal friends and not publish a referral, or cause it to be published or distributed, on or via methods, platforms and media where you have no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the readers or recipients are your personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, Wikipedia).
You are required to obtain consent from your referrals prior to referring them.
Eligible Users - Limited Time Only
This referral program is open to current residential propane customers of 1st Choice Energy Services only, for a limited time, and we may withdraw or suspend this referral program (in whole or in part) at any time. The requirements and incentives are also subject to change at any time. Employees are eligible to participate in this program, speak with your manager for specific guidelines.
Current Call-On-Demand (COD) customers will also be able to participate in this program as well. In order to keep any credit earned throughout the year, COD customers must avoid running out of gas resulting in an out of gas safety check. If a safety check must be performed on any customer’s tank, leased or owned, they will forfeit all referral credit they have received for that fiscal year. Our goal will be to transition more customers from COD status to automatic.
New customer can be a previous 1st Choice Energy Services customer but must not have received propane from us for at least two years prior to being referred.
Earning, Receiving and Redeeming Account Credits
First, any one of your referrals will get the current first-fill rate at time of delivery for their first full tank fill scheduled with 1st Choice Energy Services.
In addition, for the first scheduled delivery made by each of your referrals, you, as the referring customer, will receive an account credit in the amount $100. There will be no limit to how many customers an individual can refer. thus there is no cap on the amount of account credit referring customers can earn.
Qualifying Purchase
A Qualifying Purchase means a successfully scheduled and delivered propane tank fill purchased by the referred customer. Referred customer may also choose to contract those gallons if tank is currently too full to receive propane. Contract must be at least 300 gallons.
Referrals Referred by Multiple Users
The “referred customer” may only be referred by one “referring customer” meaning that only one credit will be issued for each new or “referred customer.” If your referral uses another customer's name on their submission form, you will not receive the account credit. Current 1st Choice Energy customers can refer as many new customers as they wish.
If You've Been Invited to 1st Choice Via a Referral
If you complete a Qualifying Purchase the referring customer will receive the credit to his/her 1st Choice Energy Services account and we will notify them that they earned this credit due to your purchases. However, we will not share with the referring customer any details about your purchase.
Important Disclaimers
We reserve the right to suspend your account and remove referrals shopping credit entitlement should we notice any activity we determine contrary to the Referral Program Terms and Conditions by the referring and/or referred customer. We retain the right to investigate the participation in the Referral Program for any fraudulent activities and take any measures to end them. We reserve the right to amend or suspend this Referral Program at any time without notice.
